Spyglass instructional clinic eclipses last clinic's turnout!

Hello Lacrosse Parents,

I am happy to report that this past clinic's numbers eclipsed those of our first clinic with 34 children (last clinic attracted 26) in attendance. Club membership has increased substantially, as have blog subscribers, which means that the Viera/Suntree Lacrosse Club is heading in a positive direction. In order to assure continued success, the board will continue to pursue marketing and advertising opportunities and fundraising events in the immediate and long term future, however, our best asset has always been and always will be the child participants and their parents spreading the word. The sport of lacrosse sells itself, which is why it is Florida's and America's fastest growing sport. As such, we kindly ask that you join us in getting the word out about future clinics as we continue to hold them regularly.

Regarding Florida Today coverage of this last clinic, the all the necessary footage was obtained for the story, but with Spacecoast Little League having made such a good showing in the Little League World Series tournament, that story took precidence for this week. However, our story will run soon and the reporter will inform me when it is scheduled to run, information that I will provide all of you with, as soon as I know.

Thanks again for helping us make another instructional clinic both fun and successful. The board is working on securing filed space for the next clinic, the date and location of which will most likely be announce later this week.

Sincerely,

Roger Welton
President, Viera/Suntree Lacrosse Club
